The event is open to all who wish to honor those impacted by a cancer diagnosis - patients, caregivers, loved ones, friends, support staff (clinicians, doctors, social workers) - and support Survivor Wellness, a remarkable community resource center in Salt Lake City.
This is a family-friendly outdoor event.
Children under 5 years old may join at no cost; however, no lift rides or meals are available to those without a ticket.
Children ages 4+ may ride the lift with adult supervision.
Note: as stated in “Event & Venue Accessibility”, this event takes place at a ski resort, and is not 100% accessible. Please read that section carefully.
-
Brighton is a ski resort at 9000' elevation.
Venue is not fully accessible. For this, we apologize.
Roads/paths are unpaved.
SHUTTLES are available to transport participants between The Rose and Snake Creek Lodge every 15-20 minutes between 10:30am-4:00pm. One shuttle will accommodate wheelchairs.
Taking the lift? Must be able to walk down.
If a participant cannot walk/transport from the Brighton Parking Lot to The Rose, a driver may drop them off at the uphill side of the Rose (access road to the left of Brighton Center) and then go park in the parking lot.
We sincerely apologize for the limitations of this venue, and hope to support our members more robustly in other ways.

Check the weather and plan accordingly.
Mountain weather can vary from valley weather, and be unpredictable.
Mornings can be chilly, and the afternoon will likely be hot and sunny.
Plan for outdoor activities with the right gear - sturdy shoes with treads, hat, sunscreen, water bottle (refill stations available), etc.
-
Pets are NOT allowed in Big Cottonwood Canyon, as it is a watershed area.
Registered Service Animals (not Emotional Support Animals) may be allowed. Please check with Brighton Resort for specific details.
-
If you cannot arrive before check-in at The Rose is over (at 11:30am), you will need to make your way to Snake Creek Lodge, either on foot or via the Summit Shuttle (runs every 15-20 minutes. See map for info).
You may proceed to the Info Station at Snake Creek to check-in and receive your wristband for the event.
