Survivors at the Summit is an annual event honoring and supporting cancer survivors.
The Summit includes thousands of yellow Tribute Flags honoring those impacted by cancer and the moving Celebration of Life, as well as hikes for all ages and abilities, meals, music, community, a silent auction, wellness activities, and more.
All proceeds benefit Survivor Wellness, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1997 as Cancer Wellness House to provide free and reduced cost services and support for cancer survivors and caregivers in a welcoming, home-like setting.
Held annually since 1996, Survivors at the Summit is a day in the mountains filled with fellowship and outdoor activities, all under a sea of yellow Tribute Flags carrying messages of love, hope, honor and remembrance. Learn more about the history of this remarkable event.

Thank you to Pure Balance for supporting the Summit in 2025!
From Nik Igntjovic owner of Pure Balance:
“At Pure Balance Cancer Support, we help individuals navigating cancer -- whether newly diagnosed, actively in treatment, or in remission -- strengthen their bodies with personalized nutrition, targeted supplements, and guided exercise plans.
I support Survivor Wellness and this event because of the profound impact this community has on its members. Although I’ve only attended one potluck so far, it was clear from that experience how deeply rooted the sense of belonging and support is within this group. The way members uplifted one another was both inspiring and humbling.
Cancer has touched my life in significant ways — from losing my grandfather, Aleksandar Ignjatovic, to colon cancer in 2006, to losing friends far too young, and navigating my own lymphoma scare. These experiences have shaped my personal and professional journey.
Now, through my connection with Survivor Wellness, I have the opportunity to give back, to support those who need it most, and to contribute to a community that embodies compassion, resilience, and hope.”
